Trip Planning Steps
BASIC THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE PLANNING A TOUR TO THE HOLY LAND

THE FIRST STEPS TO TAKE:

1. Set the exact dates and decide how many days you would like to be in the Holy Land.

2. Decide which hotels you would like your people to stay in (3,4 or 5 star accommodations).

3. Connect Rami for
further information and service.

THE PACKAGE DEAL PRICE (AIR AND LAND)
Determined upon the following points:

a. The Season in which the tour takes place. The cheapest season is usually between November and March (NOT including Jewish AND Christian Feasts!). The most expensive season is during the summer (I.e., July and August), AND, the Jewish and Christian Feasts – This is due mostly to the very expensive airfares.

b. The actual number of travelers on the tour. The more travelers on the tour, the less expensive the package deal price is! A minimum of 10 (and at some hotels in Israel, even 15) travelers is required in order for it to be considered “a tour”!

c. The number of actual days spent in the Holy Land! The more days in the Holy Land, the higher the price would be (more nights in hotels, more sites to see/visit etc.).

d. The number and nature of sites (and/or different activities) inserted into the tour itinerary!

e. Whether or not the tour host uses his/her “free deals” privilege! Tour Your Roots provides with 1 (one) free deal per every 10 (ten) paying travelers! If the tour host insists on having “more free deals” (Like, for example: 1 free on every 5 paying travelers), it will effect the tour package deal price!

RECOMMENDED SEASONS TO TRAVEL IN THE HOLY LAND

If the package deal price is not so much of an issue, then Tour Your Roots highly recommends the Spring Season (Mid Feb. through end of April) as the best season to tour the Holy Land. This is due mainly to the following reasons:

a. The Weather, which is the nicest and most comfortable in the year (excluding few hot and/or cold days, as it is “a transitional season").

b. Everything is budding (flowers etc.).

c. There is still snow on Mt. Hermon!

If the tour host is interested in experiencing the Jewish Feasts, then both the Spring AND Fall seasons are highly recommended (again, the package deal price will be directly influenced by these Feasts!).

OUTSIDE THE HOLY LAND ATTRACTIONS / PLACES OF INTEREST
Tour Your Roots offers sites and activities outside the Holy Land as well, such as Petra (and others) in Jordan, and/or the Sinai Peninsula (with its different attractions).

Needless to say, if the tour host wishes to insert these into his/her itinerary, it will effect the package deal price and the over all length of the tour.
